Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Refill. Refill is not currently available in the EU/EEA and EFTA states. You agree not to use the Service from a region where it is not offered, or to circumvent the regional access gate.

Refill is a roleplay game for entertainment. The coworkers you chat with are fictional AI characters generated by a language model from the traits you give them. They are not real people, and their messages are not from real people, even when they mention a real workplace or person.

The Service does not provide professional advice of any kind — including medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or career advice — and you should not rely on anything a character says as fact or guidance. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You keep ownership of the personas, settings, and messages you create (“Your Content”). You grant Sapiens Q a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and transmit Your Content — including sending it to our AI provider — solely to operate and improve the Service. You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it.

You agree not to:

• break the law or use the Service to harm, harass, or threaten anyone;
• impersonate a real, identifiable person in a way meant to deceive or harm them, or to create sexual or abusive content about a real person;
• create content that is illegal, including any sexual content involving minors;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or otherwise abuse the Service, or circumvent rate limits or the regional gate;
• attempt to extract another user's data.

Characters' messages are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or offensive, and may not reflect our views. We mark every AI message with an “AI” tag. You use AI-generated content at your own discretion and risk.

The Refill name, app, design, and underlying software are owned by Sapiens Q and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any right to our brand or software except to use the Service as intended.

You can stop using Refill and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sapiens Q will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

We may update the Service and these Terms. When changes are material, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Refill after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance.
